Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea (Arsenal win 6-5 on pens)
Arsenal got the better of Chelsea on penalties in the sides' International Champions Cup clash in Dublin.
Chelsea looked to have sealed victory but Alexandre Lacazette fired a last-gasp equaliser to send the clash into a shootout, converting fellow second-half substitute Reiss Nelson's cross at the far post in the final minute.
Antonio Rudiger had given the Blues the lead in just the fifth minute, getting on the end of Cesc Fabregas' corner.
Petr Cech prevented Arsenal from falling further behind on 14 minutes. Chelsea were awarded a penalty for Hector Bellerin's foul on Hudson-Odoi but the Gunners keeper saved low to his right from Alvaro Morata's spot kick.
Chelsea continued to create chances, with Morata's header following Hudson-Odoi's cross deflected for a corner.
Chelsea teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi was the star of the show, laying on a string of chances, but it was Arsenal who finished strongest and Lacazette snatched a deserved leveller.
Both sides produced a perfect set of five penalties each to send the shootout to sudden death.
But Ruben Loftus-Cheek, back with the Blues squad after a short holiday, saw his kick saved by Cech and Alex Iwobi converted for Arsenal to secure a 6-5 victory.
