Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his first MLS hat-trick in LA Galaxy's 4-3 victory over Orlando City on Sunday.

The former Manchester United forward hit all three of his goals inside a 24-minute spell in the second half to bring his tally to 15 goals in 14 starts for the Galaxy.

He also chipped in with an assist for his side's opening goal as he headed the ball to Giovani dos Santos who applied the finish after Cristian Higuita had given Orlando the lead.

In what was a thrilling encounter, Orlando took the lead on three occasions but LA Galaxy rallied each time to claim the victory.

Ibrahimovic got the equalising goal on two occasions before securing his hat-trick with a volley after controlling possession, to edge the tie and leave the final scoreline reading 4-3 to the Galaxy.

LA Galaxy are currently third in the Western Conference having won their past nine matches.
