Liverpool have been fined €8,000 euros by UEFA following incidents in their Champions League semi-final first leg against Roma at Anfield.
The Reds were charged with crowd disturbances, the throwing of objects and setting off of fireworks in the April 24 encounter, and were dealt their punishment on Wednesday evening by European football's control, ethics and disciplinary body.
Jurgen Klopp's side beat Roma 5-2 on Merseyside en route to the final, where they lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in Kiev at the end of May.
Irish man Sean Cox was badly hurt before that game when he was assaulted by Roma fans and he only regained consciousness in Beaumont Hospital in recent days.
