Dundalk's Chris Shields acknowledges that Thursday's opposition AEK Larnaca will likely be a stiffer test than their first round opponents Lavidia Tallinn.
Stephen Kenny's side disposed of Tallinn 3-1 on aggregate, earning wins both home and away and will now meet the Cypriot side in the next phase.

Incidentally, this is an exact replica of Cork City's draw in last year's Europa League. Caulfield's side demolished Tallinn but faltered against the Cypriots, losing 2-0 on aggregate.
Speaking on the Soccer Republic Extra podcast, Dundalk midfielder Shields admitted Larnaca represented a step up from the Estonian outfit but stressed that his side's style of play was well adapted to the big European nights.
"Larnaca are a step up. We've been doing our homework on them over the past few days. They've a lot of technical players," said Shields.
"They've a lot of lads who played in La Liga. There's a few Cypriot and Macedonian internationals in their team.
"I think it'll be a more possession based game for both teams. And there'll be times when we have to sit in and be patient. And we may have to be more disciplined than we had to be against Tallinn.
"Our style of play in the league kind of suits in Europe. We've never felt that we didn't belong in Europe. We've always adapted to it. It makes it more enjoyable that you're not going out chasing the ball for 90 minutes.
"Maybe a few years ago in the league, teams in Europe would be going out expecting to keep it tight and catch them on the break. We'll be expecting a good game of football and to go out and win the game."
