Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has signed a new two-year contract, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
The 30-year-old Belgium international joined United from Everton in 2013 and has made 156 appearances and scored 20 goals, winning the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
"I am pleased to be continuing my journey as a Manchester United player," he told manutd.com.
"I made this decision because I am very happy here. Also, I feel like this team, under Jose, still has a lot we want to achieve."
RTÉ soccer pundit Eamon Dunphy described Fellaini as a "real warrior" in Belgium’s 1-0 win over England to secure top spot in Group G.
"He gets stuck in and he’s got skill. He’s so honest and sticks at the task," he said. "He’s a remarkable nuisance, and I mean that in a complimentary way.

"You’d hate to have him playing against you. He’s amazing and someone I really admire.
"I think Jose Mourinho has figured out it’s better to have in your team than against you."
