Shamrock Rovers will host Celtic at Tallaght Stadium in July in preparation for their UEFA Champions League qualification, the Dublin club announced today.
Shamrock Rovers suffered a 9-0 defeat at the hands of the Scottish champions last year in a friendly at Tallaght Stadium.
The news comes just hours after after Shamrock Rovers' star players Graham Burke made his Republic of Ireland debut against Celtic.
The game will take place on Saturday 7 July at 3pm.
The Tallaght side play Cork City on Friday 6 July at 7:45pm in Turner's Cross so it means a busy 24 hours.
