Derry City captain Ryan McBride has passed away.
The 27-year-old died suddenly at his family home on Sunday, according to reports in local media.
McBride helped City to a 4-0 victory against Drogheda on Saturday as the Candystripes maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.

McBride made his debut for his hometown club in 2011 and has been ever present in their first team since
The centre-half was appointed club captain in 2015.
The cause of death is as yet unknown.
