Leicester City winning the Premier League was one of the great sporting upsets. They defied odds of 5,000 to 1 to bring home the prize, and this a year after they came so close to being relegated.
Instrumental in latter day success of Leicester is their Chief Executive, Susan Whelan, who hails from Howth, County Dublin.
Speaking on Today with Sean O'Rourke on RTÉ Radio 1, Whelan spoke about her business background, how she ended up at Leicester City and why she felt Claudio Ranieri was the "right man" for Leicester.
She also outlined her confidence that the club's Premier League form this term will come right.
