Newspaper reports reveal that Aston Villa are keen to make a £10million move for Norwich City’s Robbie Brady.

Villa manager Steve Bruce managed Brady during their time together at Hull City and now wants to bring the Dubliner to the midlands in January.

Both The Sun and the Birmingham Mail make reference to a £10miilion transfer fee and wages of around £50,000 a week that Villa would have to offer Norwich for the Republic of Ireland international.

Brady did insist only last month that he was in no hurry to leave Norwich, despite interest in him following an impressive showing at Euro 2016.

The Canaries are believed to be reluctant to sell the 24-year-old as they strive for an instant return to the Premier League. They currently sit ninth in the Championship table, with Villa in 13th.

The sides meet in the league at Carrow Road this evening.
