Robbie Benson is ready to go to the well once again to help Dundalk "close it out" against Bohemians today at Oriel Park (live, RTÉ2, 7pm), and tick the chase for the SSE Airtricity Premier Division title off their hectic schedule.
Second-placed Cork City kept their hopes alive with a 3-1 defeat of St Pat's on Friday night, but the Lilywhites remain in control of their own destiny. Three points against the Gypsies will seal a third league crown on the bounce.
"We have a good squad and we are looking forward to [the game]," Benson told the club's website.
"The league is our priority. This is a good opportunity for us to close it out and win it in front of our own fans but we know that it will be a tough match at home to Bohemians.
"They are a good side but hopefully we can get a great turnout at Oriel and get over the line."
Benson sent Tallaght into raptures on Thursday night with a long-range strike that, improbably, put Dundalk ahead against Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League.
The visitors turned it around - it took a goal from a man capped nine times with Brazil, Giuliano, to win it - but Benson insisted the game was further proof Dundalk can live with the cream of European football.
"Thursday was disappointing especially after going 1-0 up," he said. "I think our recent schedule took its toll when it came to the last 20 minutes.
"They were able to up it for that period and we were tired but I thought we had done very well at that point.
"We know that we can compete at this level and we played well but we didn’t get anything from the game and that’s football."
The Lilywhites remain in second spot in the group behind Zenit who now have nine points. Dundalk still have four, Maccabi Tel-Aviv have three points and AZ Alkmaar are bottom with one.
In their final week of domestic action, the league leaders face three games in five days: Today against Bohs, Tuesday away to St Pat's Athletic and Friday tat home to Galway United.
Manager Stephen Kenny has no suspension worries, however midfield duo John Mountney [back] and captain Stephen O'Donnell [hamstring] are doubtful.
