The Republic of Ireland will welcome Iceland to Dublin for an international friendly next March.
Iceland, who famously knocked England out of this summer's European Championships en route to a quarter-final appearance, will face Martin O'Neill's men on 28 March.
The game will come four days after Ireland face Wales at the same venue in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Iceland have continued their good form from the Euros and are currently joint-leaders of Group I on seven points, the same total as Ireland after three games.
It is the second friendly tie announced by the FAI for 2017, with Uruguay due to take to the field in the Aviva on 4 June.
