The Republic of Ireland will prepare for their crunch World Cup qualifier against Austria next June with an Aviva Stadium clash with Uruguay.
Martin O'Neill's team will play the two-time World Cup champions on 4 June, a week before they host their Group D rivals.
Led by Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez, Uruguay ended England's World Cup at the group stages two years ago in Brazil with a 2-1 victory.

They were beaten 2-0 by Colombia in the last 16 as they failed to cope with the loss of Suarez - who was suspended due to his infamous bite on Italy's Giorgio Cheillini in their final group game.
Ninth in the FIFA world rankings, Uruguay currently sit top of the World Cup qualifying table for South American teams.
They visited Dublin for the first time five years ago, edging a five-goal thriller 3-2 in a March friendly at the Aviva.
