Former Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane was on target in Los Angeles Galaxy's 4-2 win over Orlando City last night.

The Dubliner, who retired from Ireland duty a fortnight ago after racking up a record 68 goals in 146 international games, scored the final goal of the game in LA's win to send his side up to second in the Western Conference.

Alan Gordon and Giovani Dos Santos (2) were also on the mark as Landon Donovan made his return to the MLS, coming on as an 83rd-minute substitute to a standing ovation at StubHub Center to end his 21-month retirement .

Kevin Molino and Brek Shea replied for Orlando.

DC United scored twice in the last two minutes to earn a 2-2 draw with New York Red Bulls.

Gonzalo Veron opened the scoring for the Red Bulls in the 35th minute before Bradley Wright-Phillips' 18th goal of the season doubled the advantage.

But DC rallied and Steve Birnbaum gave them a lifeline in the 89th minute and Lamar Neagle's stoppage-time tap-in rescued a point.
