Swansea have agreed to a deal to sign Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Sevilla.
The 31-year-old, who was part of the Spain squads that won the 2010 World Cup and 2012 European Championship, is due to undergo a medical with the club on Friday.
It is understood the former Athletic Bilbao and Juventus forward has been handed a two-year deal by the Premier League side.
West Brom's club record move for West Ham striker Diafra Sakho has fallen through.
The 26-year-old had been expected to complete a switch to The Hawthorns on Thursday but the transfer has collapsed as he will not be fit for the start of the season, Press Association Sport has reported.
Albion were prepared to pay around £15million for Sakho but, while he has not failed a medical, the Baggies were reluctant to spend the significant sum without any guarantees he would be ready when they needed him.
Norwich have signed Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old, a former England Under-21 international, has joined the Canaries on a four-year deal.
Pritchard struggled to break into Tottenham's first team under Mauricio Pochettino, making just two Premier League appearances since graduating through the academy, and spent spells on loan at Peterborough, Swindon, Brentford and West Brom.
He excelled at Brentford during the 2014/15 campaign, scoring 12 goals in 47 games as the Bees reached the Championship play-offs.
Pritchard told Norwich's official website: "I'm ready to come here, fight for my place and hopefully play well.
"I feel I need to go out and prove myself again in football. I'm 23 now so it's about time I had my own path really.
Manchester City could make a third signing this week and are close to signing Colombia international Marlos Moreno.
The 19-year-old winger would cost around £4.75million if a deal to bring him from Atletico Nacional is completed.
Moreno's arrival would follow those of Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus, whose deals have already concluded this week, although reports have suggested he could immediately be loaned out for experience.
Spanish club Deportivo la Coruna are a reported potential destination for the player, who came through the youth system at Atletico and has earned seven caps for Colombia.
His signing would continue a busy summer at City following the appointment of Pep Guardiola as manager.
Ilkay Gundogan, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Nolito have also joined City with around #100million having been spent reinvigorating the first-team squad.
There could also be further additions, with Everton defender John Stones still being linked with a switch to the Etihad Stadium.
