Bohemians midfielder Ayman Ben Mohamed has signed for Tunisian club side L’Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

The former UCD and Longford Town players signed for Bohs at the start of the season and recently received an international call up for Tunisia.

The Dublin club confirmed that they had agreed an undisclosed fee for the sale of Ben Mohamed to the Tunisian league runners-up.

A statement from Bohemians read: “The agreement is subject to international clearance, the player passing a medical and agreeing personal terms with the Tunisian club.

“His starring performances this season saw him earn an international call-up from Tunisia for their  Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Djibouti in June.

“The London-born midfielder, who moved to Ireland with his family when he was two, qualifies for Tunisia through his father Lotfi, who is originally from the Tunisian capital Tunis.”
