Southampton have confirmed the departure of Italy striker Graziano Pelle to Chinese club Shandong Luneng.
Pelle, who turns 31 on July 15, had only one year remaining on his Southampton deal and had been linked with a move away from St Mary's Stadium during the January transfer window.
The Barclays Premier League club confirmed the Italian's departure on Monday for an undisclosed fee, which is believed to be worth around £13million.
A statement on www.saintsfc.co.uk read: "Everyone at Southampton Football Club would like to thank Graziano for his efforts during his time at St Mary's and wish him well for the future."
Pelle was brought to the Premier League by Dutch manager Ronald Koeman, who has since moved to Everton.
Senegal's Papiss Cisse joined Shandong Luneng from relegated Newcastle United earlier this month.
Shandong are one from bottom of the Super League, in one of the two relegation berths, midway through the Chinese season. Former Bayern Munich boss Felix Magath is the head coach.
Winger Gokhan Tore has joined West Ham United from Turkish champions Besiktas on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
The 24-year-old, who worked under West Ham manager Slaven Bilic at Besiktas, scored four goals in 24 appearances last season.
"I am very happy to be at West Ham. I watched many games that they played last season and saw how passionate the fans are. That made me want to come here and I am looking forward to playing in front of them," Tore told the club's website.
"Slaven was also a big factor in me coming here... He is the main man and knows me very well. I could not have said no to him. He is the best manager I have worked under and he is like a father to the players. You feel like you are family."
West Ham, who finished seventh in the league last season, travel to Stamford Bridge to face London rivals Chelsea for their first game of the new league campaign on 15 August.
Goalkeeper Danny Ward has signed a long-term contract with Liverpool and will spend next season on loan with Sky Bet Championship outfit Huddersfield.
The 23-year-old has agreed fresh terms at Anfield having made his first-team debut last season under Jurgen Klopp following a successful loan stint with Aberdeen.
Ward was the back-up to Simon Mignolet upon his return from Aberdeen but the Belgian's competition for next term is expected to come from Loris Karius, who Klopp lured from former club Mainz at the end of last season.
Having represented Wales in their opening Euro 2016 win over Slovakia when Wayne Hennessey was injured, Ward will now head to West Yorkshire to play under Klopp's old colleague David Wagner.
