Stephen Bradley will take charge of Shamrock Rovers for their Europa League first qualifying round, second leg game against RoPS of Finland after he being appointed caretaker manager.

Pat Fenlon was sacked last Sunday in the wake of Rover's 2-0 defeat at home to the Finish side in their first leg clash and the Hoops are currently on the hunt for a new manager.

Until that man is found, Bradley will be the man in charge with Glenn Cronin and Stephen McPhail - who will take up the role of player coach - assisting him.

The Dublin team confirmed the appointment in a statement which read: "Shamrock Rovers can confirm that Stephen Bradley has taken up the role of first team manager on a caretaker basis.

"Stephen has been a key part of our coaching team at the club for the past two years at both senior and Academy level and will take charge for Thursday nights Europa League qualifying second leg against RoPS of Finland.

"The club would like to place on record our huge appreciation to all of our new senior management team for accepting the responsibility of leading the first team forward."
