Portugal winger Nani will join Valencia from Fenerbahce on a three-year deal, the LaLiga club have announced.

The 29-year-old left Manchester United for Turkey in the summer of 2015, having also spent a loan spell back at former club Sporting Lisbon.

During his time at Old Trafford, Nani was part of Sir Alex Ferguson's successful side and won the Premier League four times as well as the 2008 Champions League final.

The deal taking Nani, who was also a reported target of Stoke this summer, to Spain is believed to be in the region of €8.5m.

A statement from Valencia read: "Valencia Club de Futbol have reached an agreement with Portuguese international Luis Carlos Almeida - 'Nani' - for the player to join the club for the next three seasons.

"He is currently in France with the Portuguese national team, who will play in the Euro 2016 semi-finals against Wales this Wednesday.

"He has represented his country on 101 occasions, scoring 20 goals - two of which have come in the ongoing tournament.

"Nani will be officially presented as a Valencia CF player in the coming days."

West Ham United defender James Tomkins has joined Crystal Palace for a fee of £10m.

The central defender, 27, has signed a five-year contract to leave the club he turned professional with.

He becomes manager Alan Pardew's third summer recruit after the arrival of club-record signing Andros Townsend, and France international goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

"I am really excited to be joining Crystal Palace, a massive club and a manager in Alan Pardew that I know well and will always be thankful for how he helped me develop in my younger days at Upton Park," said Tomkins, who will join Palace's tour of the US and Canada which begins on Sunday.

Chairman Steve Parish added: "I'm really pleased James has agreed to join us, he's someone Alan has always wanted to sign from his own days at West Ham.

"I'm sure he is destined to become a huge part of our team as we look to build on the progress the club has made over the last six years.

"It's been a really positive transfer window so far, everyone has worked really hard to make these deals happen and I think we are much stronger because of them."

It is expected Tomkins will play alongside Scott Dann in central defence as Pardew continues his attempts to strengthen the team that reached last season's FA Cup final.

The manager is also rumoured to want a striker, and continues to be linked with Liverpool's Christian Benteke.

Meanwhile former Hammers team-mate full-back Aaron Cresswell has signed a one-year contract extension, the Premier League club have announced.

Cresswell, 26, joined the Hammers from Ipswich two years ago and has firmly established himself in the side during that time.

His extension will keep him at the club until 2021 and follows on from Michail Antonio penning a fresh deal on Monday as manager Slaven Bilic looks to tie down all of his key personnel to longer contracts.

"It's great news for me," the former Tranmere man told West Ham TV.

"I've been here for two years now and I'm looking forward to the next five seasons now that I've signed.

"Last season, especially with it being the last season at the Boleyn Ground, was pretty special, with the Manchester United game one which will live with me forever.

Antonio's new contract means the winger, who signed from Nottingham Forest last summer, is committed to West Ham until 2020 with the club pushing to keep hold of their top talent while also bringing in fresh faces.

Dimtri Payet, the club's current player of the year, signed a new deal in February to ward off interest from top European sides, with Bilic so far recruiting defensive midfielder Havard Nordtveit and winger Sofiane Feghouli ahead of the new season - West Ham's first at the Olympic Stadium.

Swansea have confirmed the signing of Leroy Fer from QPR for an undisclosed fee.

The Holland international midfielder has signed a three-year contract after impressing manager Francesco Guidolin while on loan last season.

He then made 11 appearances for the club, who are his third in English football.

"I'm very happy, from the first minute I felt at home," he told the club's official website. "We did very good in the second half of the season.

"If we play like that, we can aim for higher, and that's what we want. Hopefully some new strong players (will) come in to help us.

"It makes it easier for me as well, if a coach wants you. (Guidolin) was surprised (at my ability), he said."

Poland defender Kamil Glik had no hesitation in switching to Monaco from Torino once he learned of the Ligue 1 club's interest in him.

Glik, who played every minute of his nation's run to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, finalised a four-year deal to join Leonardo Jardim's men for an undisclosed fee on Monday evening.

The 28-year-old centre-back made 154 appearances over the course of five seasons for Torino, captaining them from the start of the 2013/14 campaign, but he had no qualms in accepting a move to Monaco.

He told the club's official website: "AS Monaco was clearly my first choice. As soon as I became aware of the interest of the club, I said yes immediately. Everything very quickly unravelled.

"AS Monaco is a club that plays to win. They are one of the best clubs in France. I am very proud to join this project."

Newcastle have cancelled Fabricio Coloccini's contract by mutual consent to enable the defender to rejoin Argentinian club San Lorenzo.

Coloccini, 34, spent eight years at St James' Park and was appointed club captain for the 2011/12 season, but has opted for a move back home following the Magpies' relegation from the Premier League.

"It is rare in football these days that a player gives such length of service to one club and I would like to thank Colo for his contribution to Newcastle United since he joined us before the start of the 2008/09 season," Newcastle's managing director Lee Charnley told the club's official website.

Centre-half Coloccini, who made 39 appearances for Argentina, joined Newcastle from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2008 for a reported fee of £10.3million.

Coloccini captained the Magpies for the first time in October 2010 against Wigan and went on to make a total of 275 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals.

He began his career with Boca Juniors and after moving to Italy with AC Milan in 1999 returned to Argentina for a loan spell with San Lorenzo.

A move back to Europe took in further loan spells with Alaves, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal before he signed a permanent deal with Deportivo in 2005.

Charnley added: "In the eight years he has been with us, Colo has become a firm friend and colleague to many players and staff, past and present, who I know will miss him. We wish him all the very best for his future career."

Rising Brazilian star Gabriel Jesus looks set to shun a possible move to one of European football's powerhouses this summer after reiterating his desire to stay at Palmeiras.

The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have been linked with the 19-year-old forward, who is the leading scorer in the Brazilian top flight this season with nine goals.

However, the teenager says he is not looking to leave home-town club Palmeiras any time soon.

Speaking after scoring in the 3-1 win over Sport Recife which left Palmeiras three points clear in the league with 13 rounds gone, Gabriel Jesus told Sportv: "I'm have it totally clear. My intention is to stay with Palmeiras.

"I have great confidence in my work and in coach Cuca and, more than that, in the team. We have a very good team right now.
