Robbie Keane was on target as the Los Angeles Galaxy won their first MLS game in eight, beating the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0.
Keane, back from Republic of Ireland duty at Euro 2016, opened the scoring in the 12th minute with his fifth goal of the season, taking a pass from Steven Gerrard and firing a superb curling shot into the top corner of David Ousted's net.

Jeff Larentowicz doubled the advantage two minutes after the break when he headed home a Gerrard corner before the Galaxy were reduced to 10 men when Nigel de Jong was dismissed after 74 minutes for a foul on Blas Perez, but they held on for victory.
The Colorado Rapids and the Portland Timbers played out a 0-0 draw.
FC Dallas took the overall lead with a 4-0 Independence Day victory over Orlando City at Toyota Stadium.
Walter Zimmerman set them on their way after 11 minutes when he fired home from Mauro Diaz's corner and Michael Barrios chipped goalkeeper Joe Bendik to make it two after 21 minutes.
Matt Hedges headed home a Diaz free-kick in the 61st minute before Fabian Castillo wrapped it up in stoppage time.
