Manchester City have signed Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko, the Premier League club have announced.

The 19-year-old former Shakhtar Donetsk player, who featured in all three of Ukraine's matches at Euro 2016, arrives from Russian club FC Ufa.

Zinchenko's arrival at the Etihad Stadium follows those of Ilkay Gundogan, Aaron Mooy and Nolito this summer.

Zinchenko only made his debut for Ufa in March of last year and made his international bow in the Euro 2016 qualifier to Spain last October.

Ukraine failed to score a goal in Group C as they lost to Germany, Northern Ireland and Poland.

Ufa say a “long-term cooperation” agreement between the two clubs is part of the deal.

Meanwhile Barcelona have signed former City prospect Denis Suarez on a four-year contract.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder arrives at the Nou Camp from Villarreal, for whom he signed last August after spending two years on the books of Barcelona 'B'.

A statement published on Barca's official website revealed the Catalans had paid €3.25m to buy Suarez back from Villarreal, with a buy-out clause for the player set at €50m.

Suarez, who scored four La Liga goals for the Yellow Submarine as they finished fourth in the league last season, will undergo a medical tomorrow.

The Galician joined City from Celta Vigo in May 2011 and made two cup appearances before moving to Barcelona 'B' in August 2013.

A Europa League winner with Sevilla, where he spent the 2014-15 campaign on loan, Suarez made his senior Spain debut as a substitute in a friendly match against Bosnia earlier this year.
