Shane Long will return from knee trouble for Southampton's Premier League clash with Newcastle at St Mary's on Saturday.
The 29-year-old forward suffered a minor knee injury while playing for the Republic of Ireland against Slovakia but is now ready to lead Saints' line, while midfielder Steven Davis, the Northern Ireland captain, will miss out with an ankle issue.
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman still hopes Davis will be fit in time for the trip to Everton on 16 April.
