Sligo Rovers have confirmed their second signing of the week with midfielder Jimmy Keohane agreeing terms to move to The Showgrounds.

Keohane, 24, previously played for Bristol City, Exeter City and Woking after transferring from Wexford Youths.

He is also a former Republic of Ireland Under-19 international.

The majority of his time in England was spent with Exeter where he made 87 appearances and scored 10 goals.

He follows Tim Clancy in committing to the club for 2016 this week and so brings Dave Robertson’s squad to eight.

Defender Jeff Henderson will join Rovers for the first two weeks of pre-season training as his fitness is assessed after missing the entire 2015 campaign with a foot injury.
