England were comprehensively beaten 2-0 by Spain in Alicante on Friday night.
Mario Gaspar scored a stunning volley and Santiago Cazorla wrapped it up as the Spaniards bewildered Roy Hodgson's men with sublime passing football.
France's 2-0 friendly win over world champions Germany was overshadowed by the violence unfolding in the city as the game was under way.
