Cork City have announced the signing of Greg Bolger from St Patrick's Athletic.
The midfielder joins after making over one hundred league appearances for the Richmond Park side, winning the Premier Division, FAI Cup and EA Sports Cup in a four-year spell with the club.
Speaking to CorkCityFC.ie, the 27-year-old said that he was hoping to be part of a successful season in 2016: “I’m delighted to be here.
"Having lost the cup final, I know the lads here will be hungry to go again next year and I probably didn’t have the best year myself, on the back of a few decent years.
"I’m here to help the lads as much as I can, try to get back to the Aviva and hopefully push Dundalk all the way."
On his new signing, City boss John Caulfield added: "I am absolutely delighted to have signed Greg. He is probably the top midfielder in the country and has won a league, a cup and a league cup with St Pat’s over the last three seasons.
"He is in the prime of his career and has his best football ahead of him, even though he has won three trophies in three years.
"Greg is probably the best passer of a ball in the league and I think he is going to be a tremendous signing for us.”
