Thursday's scheduled World Cup qualifier between Brazil and Argentina has been postponed for 24 hours following torrential rain in Buenos Aires.
It has been six years since the two nations met in qualifying but the Superclasico will have to wait one more day as the pitch at River Plate's Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti was left waterlogged by the deluge.
Both Football Associations confirmed the postponement on their respective websites.
The postponement is not good news for either team as they much both travel before their next matches on 17 November, when Brazil will be back at home to face Peru while Argentina head to Colombia.
