Republic of Ireland striker Shane Long is a doubt for the country's EURO 2016 play-off next month after Southampton revealed the Tipperary man will miss two to four weeks due to injured ankle ligaments.
Long sustained the injury in Ireland's 2-1 defeat to Poland last Sunday, and was stretchered off the field.

The draw for the play-offs takes place on Sunday morning (10.15am Irish time) when Ireland will discover whether they must beat Bosnia, Hungary, Ukraine or Sweden to make it to France.
The home and away ties will take place between 12 and 17 November meaning Long faces a race against time to be fit for the games.
Long scored a memorable winner in Ireland's 1-0 victory over world champions Germany last week.
