Cristiano Ronaldo joined Raul as Real Madrid's most prolific goalscorer when he netted both goals in their 2-0 win over Malmo in Champions League Group A.

Already the top scorer in the competition's history, Ronaldo rifled home his 81st and 82nd Champions League goals and took his Real tally to 323 alongside Raul with goals in the 29th and 90th minutes.

With six points from their opening two games, Rafael Benitez's side lead Group A on goal difference from their next opponents Paris Saint-Germain, while Malmo, despite two losses, are third having conceded fewer goals than Shakhtar Donetsk.

The dismissal of Malmo's Yoshimar Yotun in the 78th minute after picking up his second yellow card effectively ended the game as a contest.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was frustrated in his attempts to overhaul Paris St Germain's all-time goalscoring record as a late strike was officially recorded as an own goal.

Ibrahimovic thought he had scored his 108th goal for PSG, equalled Pauleta's record and sealed a 3-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in one fell toe poke, but his shot deflected off Darijo Srna and UEFA awarded the goal to Shakhtar's captain.

It was almost the perfect end to a comfortable evening for PSG, with Serge Aurier the other, less likely catalyst in PSG's win as he scored one and assisted another in a blistering first-half.

Aurier, a late replacement for the injured Gregory van der Wiel, powered forward from right-back in the eighth minute to head Maxwell's deep cross past Andriy Pyatov for his first Champions League goal.

The Ivorian turned provider 15 minutes later, his flicked near-post header off Angel di Maria's corner ricocheting into David Luiz's thigh and over the hapless Pyatov.

Benfica seized control of Group C when they fought back from a goal down to secure an impressive 2-1 win at 2014 runners-up Atletico Madrid.

Angel Correa fired Atletico ahead in the 23rd minute at the Calderon when Antoine Griezmann cushioned a delightful pass into his path and he cracked the ball past Julio Cesar from close range.

Nicolas Gaitan levelled for the visitors in the 36th minute, smashing a first-time shot through a crowd of players, and teenager Goncalo Guedes made it 2-1 six minutes into the second half when he converted a Gaitan cross at the far post.

They were the first goals Atletico had conceded at the Calderon in Europe's elite club competition in more than 700 minutes and prevented them from setting a Champions League record of eight consecutive home clean sheets.

Diego Simeone's side have won 21 of their last 25 European matches at home and it was their first defeat since a 2-0 reverse to Rubin Kazan in the Europa League last 32 in 2013.

With two matches played, Benfica top the section with a maximum six points, with Atletico in second place on three. Astana and Galatasaray each have one point after they drew 2-2 in Kazakhstan.

The game in the Spanish capital, the first competitive meeting between the sides, was marred by Benfica fans throwing flares towards the Atletico supporters after Gaitan's equaliser.

Juventus put their miserable domestic form behind them to defeat Sevilla 2-0 in their Group D match thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata and Simone Zaza, and an excellent debut showing from Sami Khedira.

Morata headed an excellent Andrea Barzagli cross past the helpless Sergio Rico on 41 minutes, before substitute Zaza doubled Juve's lead with a late breakaway goal in the 87th minute.

Khedira was named in the starting lineup for the first time since his summer move from Real Madrid, and proved influential, giving Juve the kind of stability they have lacked in Serie A this season.

The victory establishes Juventus as the outright leaders in Group D with a maximum six points after two matches.

Sevilla and Manchester City, who beat Borussia Moenchengladbach 2-1 in the other Group D match, both have three points.

CSKA Moscow held off a second-half fightback from PSV Eindhoven to open their Champions League account with a 3-2 victory at the Arena Khimki.

PSV caused one of the biggest shocks of this season's competition by beating Manchester United 2-1 at home on matchday one.

But CSKA were in cruise control by the interval as they led 3-0 and they would have had an even greater advantage but for Seydou Doumbia blazing over his second penalty of the first half.

Maxime Lestienne turned the tide, however, when he scored twice in eight second-half minutes, but PSV's hopes of snatching an unlikely point were dented when Santiago Arias was sent off 10 minutes from time.

With Manchester United beating Wolfsburg 2-1 at Old Trafford, it means all four teams in Group B are tied on three points after the opening two rounds.
