Sligo Rovers have made it three new additions to their squad in the last 24 hours with Jason Hughes and Rob Lehane joining Patrick Nzuzi at The Showgrounds.

Midfielder Hughes moves from bottom of the table Limerick, while striker Lehane joins on loan from Cork City.

Nzuzi joined the Bit o' Red last night - he had been out of contract after release from Limerick last season.

Cork have also confirmed that Kieran Djilali has departed from the Turner's Cross club by mutual agreement, while Josh O’Shea has also left the club.

City boss John Caulfield said: “Rob is going on loan to Sligo. I just felt that he had picked up a few minor injuries this year and that has prevented him from getting a proper run.

"I see him as one for the future; I thought after last year that he might have broken through quicker, but he picked up a knock at the very start and that knocked him back. We had a good chat, he needs to play games; hopefully he will get games and goals up there and come back to us for the start of next season.”

Meanwhile, St Patrick's Athletic have confirmed that Conor McCormack has left the Inchicore club by mutual consent. The former Shamrock Rovers utility man has joined Derry City until the end of the season.
