Republic of Ireland international Paul McShane is reportedly on the verge of signing for Reading, with the defender having had a medical on Wednesday morning.
McShane has been without a club since being released by Hull, but now looks on the verge of becoming the Championship side’s latest signing.
If the move is completed, McShane will join up with fellow Ireland international and former hull team-mate, Stephen Quinn, whose move to Reading was confirmed on Tuesday.
A picture circulating on Twitter claimed to show McShane outside the Madejski Hotel on Wednesday.
