Non-league UCC will host holders Dundalk in the EA Sports Cup quarter-finals.
The students, who play in the Munster Senior League, will be eyeing up another giant-killing having already accounted for Wexford Youths and Cobh Ramblers.
Meanwhile, Shamrock Rovers, bidding to reach a fourth consecutive final, face another trip to Derry City. The sides drew 0-0 in last Friday’s league encounter.
Cork City, who last won the competition in the 1998-99 season, have been drawn at home to St Patrick’s Athletic, while Galway United will have home advantage against Bohemians, who previously lifted the trophy in 2009.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for Monday, 18 May, and Tuesday, 19 May, and will be played to a finish on the night with provision for extra-time and penalties.
Elsewhere, 26-year-old midfielder Shane Tracy has re-joined Limerick.
