Joint record FA Cup winners Manchester United and Arsenal will meet in the quarter-finals of this season's competition.

The two were paired in the draw made before the kick-off at Deepdale in the first meeting between Preston and United for 43 years.

The away side fell behind early in the first half but rallied to put three past Preston and progress.

Giant-killers Bradford City, who have knocked out Premier League Chelsea and Sunderland on the way to their first quarter-final since 1976, have a chance of reaching the semi-finals for the first time since they won the Cup in 1911 with a home tie against Championship Reading.

The draw also pitted Liverpool against Championship side Blackburn Rovers. Aston Villa meet West Bromwich Albion in a clash of Midlands rivals who met in three finals in the 19th century.

The ties will be played on the weekend of 7-8 March.
