Tottenham (6) v Arsenal (5) 1245
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has a full complement of players to choose from, with midfielder Nabil Bentaleb available after Algeria's elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Emmanuel Adebayor, Younes Kaboul and Etienne Capoue could be involved in the squad after deadline-day moves did not materialise.

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez (hamstring) faces a late fitness test.

England striker Danny Welbeck is expected back in the squad after recovering from a thigh injury, while new signing Gabriel Paulista should also be included.

Midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (groin) is still out along with Jack Wilshere (ankle), Mikel Arterta (ankle), Abou Diaby (calf) and full-back Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder).

Aston Villa (16) v Chelsea (1) 1500
Captain Ron Vlaar could return for Villa after resuming training this week. The defender has been sidelined with a knee injury since limping out against Crystal Palace on New Year's Day.

Philippe Senderos is likely to sit out again with his calf problem and Libor Kozak continues to recover from a broken leg but Joe Cole may make the squad after a hamstring injury.

Deadline-day signing Juan Cuadrado could make his Chelsea debut and fit-again playmaker Cesc Fabregas could also feature for the Premier League leaders.

Filipe Luis (calf) remains out, alongside the suspended Diego Costa, who serves the second part of his three-match ban for his stamp on Liverpool's Emre Can.

Jose Mourinho could be tempted to restore Petr Cech in goal after Thibaut Courtois' uncharacteristic mistake in the build-up to Manchester City's equaliser last Saturday, while Kurt Zouma is again likely to start in defence ahead of Gary Cahill.

Matty James is available after suspension, Riyad Mahrez is back following Algeria's Africa Cup of Nations exit and Matt Upson is available after a long-term foot injury, but goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel (foot) and striker Chris Wood (ankle) are out.

Pape Souare could make his Palace debut but the Eagles will be without captain Mile Jedinak.

Souare could make his first appearance since joining from Lille in the transfer window but Jedinak is out, having returned from helping Australia win the Asian Cup with a sore ankle.

Marouane Chamakh is unlikely to feature after breaking his nose during the defeat to Everton last weekend.

Manchester City are injury-free with midfielder Samir Nasri and defender Eliaquim Mangala back in the squad.

Nasri has missed the last three games with a calf injury while Mangala had a shoulder problem.

Yaya Toure and new signing Wilfried Bony remain on international duty with the Ivory Coast away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Hull new boy Dame N'Doye is unlikely to be available because the deadline-day signing from Lokomotiv Moscow is still in Paris trying to resolve visa issues and awaiting international clearance from the Russian federation.

Nikica Jelavic faces a late fitness test on his injured knee while Mohamed Diame remains at least a fortnight away from a first-team return with his own long-term knee problem.

QPR (19) v Southampton (4) 1500
QPR midfielder Sandro could return for Chris Ramsey's first game in temporary charge. Sandro is still regaining fitness but has recovered from a knee problem that has kept the midfielder out since the end of November.

Alejandro Faurlin remains sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury.

Ramsey may also reintroduce Adel Taarabt to the first team. The Moroccan forward was not considered fit enough to play by Harry Redknapp, who resigned as manager on Tuesday.

Midfielders Morgan Schneiderlin and Victor Wanyama are available again for Saints. Schneiderlin has recovered from an adductor problem while Wanyama is fit after suffering with hamstring trouble.

Loan signing Filip Djuricic will not play as he is awaiting a work permit, Shane Long (ribs) is unlikely to feature and Toby Alderweireld (hamstring) is still a week away with Jay Rodriguez (knee) a long-term absentee.

Swansea (9) v Sunderland (14) 1500
Ki Sung-yueng returns for Swansea after missing the last five matches while being on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup.

Former England Under-21 international Jack Cork, signed from Southampton last week, could make his Swans debut and also feature in midfield while Leon Britton (virus) and Jefferson Montero (hamstring) are both in contention after missing last week's 1-0 win at Southampton.

Kyle Bartley and Gylfi Sigurdsson remain suspended, Wayne Routledge (calf) is still missing and Marvin Emnes has been ruled out for three weeks after picking up a hamstring strain at St Mary's.

Striker Connor Wickham, who missed the FA Cup replay victory at Fulham in midweek with a calf injury sustained in the warm-up, is likely to sit out once again for Sunderland.

Midfielder Lee Cattermole continues his recovery from a knee problem.

Adam Johnson (thumb surgery) and Jack Rodwell (groin) are rated at only 50-50, while fellow midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini suffered bruising during the game at Craven Cottage and is also a doubt, along with full-back Billy Jones and midfielder Will Buckley, who both have unspecified knocks.

Everton (12) v Liverpool (7) 1730
Everton boss Roberto Martinez expects James McCarthy to be available and is also ready to hand Aaron Lennon a Toffees debut in the game. Midfielder McCarthy is set to return after missing six games with a hamstring problem, while winger Lennon is coming into the squad following deadline-day loan arrival from Tottenham.

The contest looks to be too soon for Tim Howard (calf) to make his comeback, while Leon Osman (foot), Steven Pienaar (knee) and Tony Hibbert (unspecified) remain sidelined.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has to decide whether striker Daniel Sturridge is ready to start. The England international has made just two 20-minute substitute appearances since his comeback from a five-month lay-off but is approaching full fitness.

There are slight injury doubts over midfielders Lucas Leiva (thigh), Lazar Markovic (back) and Adam Lallana (groin).

Stephen Ward (ankle) is back training with the first team, while Kevin Long (knee) will not be fit until next season.

Darren Fletcher is in line for his West Brom debut after signing from Manchester United. The midfielder is likely to start following his deadline-day move, with James Morrison, who will be assessed, struggling with a knee problem.

Jonas Olsson is training with the squad again after an Achilles injury, but will not feature as the defender is not yet match fit.

Boaz Myhill could return to the squad after a hand injury and Graham Dorrans and Brown Ideye will be included after aborted deadline-day moves.

Midfielders Siem de Jong (thigh) and Rolando Aarons (hamstring) need a little more time.

Stoke will be without skipper Ryan Shawcross because of a back problem which forced him off in the first half of last Saturday's 3-1 win over QPR.

Jonathan Walters, who scored a hat-trick in that match, is a doubt due to a knee problem that has prevented him from training this week, although manager Mark Hughes is hopeful the forward will be available.

Andy Carroll picked up an ankle injury in the defeat at Liverpool and Allardyce has suggested he will not be risked, while Diego Poyet and Doneil Henry are also missing with unspecified knocks.

Midfielder Michael Carrick remains Manchester United's only injury concern. The 33-year-old has not played since the FA Cup fourth-round trip to Cambridge a fortnight ago due to a calf strain.

Defender Jonny Evans and winger Ashley Young returned to action after injuries in Tuesday's replay victory over Cambridge at Old Trafford.
