The Republic of Ireland women will face Olympic champions USA on Sunday, May 10 in San Jose.
The match, which is part of the team’s preparations for the start of Euro 2017 qualifiers in September, will take place at the Avaya Stadium with a 7.30pm (Irish time) kick-off and will be shown live in America on Fox Sports 1.
The sides last met in 2012 when they played back-to-back matches in Oregon and Arizona with the USA winning 5-0 and 2-0 respectively.
The match in San Jose will be the first of three games the USA are playing prior to their departure for the World Cup finals in Canada where they will be bidding to win the title for the third time and first since 1999.
Ireland manager Sue Ronan said: “It’s a great game for us as part of our preparations for the Euro 2017 campaign.
“They are currently preparing for this summer’s World Cup and will be going into that tournament as one of the favourites so it is another excellent test for us and it will be a very good experience for our young players.”
