Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane completed his UEFA 'B' Diploma final assessment this week in IT Carlow and began his UEFA 'A' Licence
Keane joined IT Carlow’s third year BA Sport & Exercise (soccer) students this week for two days of coaching education.
The UEFA qualifications are a requirement for becoming a coach or manager in the game.
Keane was joined by former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini, a team-mate of the striker at Tottenham Hotspur and LA Galaxy, for the two-day project.
