SSE Airtricity Premier Division champions Dundalk have made their first signing off the off-season with goalkeeper Gary Rogers moving to Oriel Park.
Rogets leaves Sligo Rovers after three season where he claimed three trophies with the Bit O' Red and also won the SWAI Goalkeeper of the Year in 2012.
The Bohermeen native brings a wealth of experience to the club having lined out for St. Patrick’s Athletic, Galway United, Bray Wanderers, St. Francis, Dublin City and his home club of Drogheda United, where he picked up his first FAI Cup medal in 2005.
The 33 year-old will take over the number one jersey from Peter Cherrie.
Cherrie is reportedly set to move on from Dundalk.
I'm delighted to join @DundalkFC and I'm really looking forward to a new challenge after 3 brilliant years at @sligorovers
