Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia is the star name in Ecuador's provisional 30-man squad for next month's World Cup in Brazil.
The 28-year-old will be hoping to put a miserable domestic campaign with United behind him when his country take on Switzerland, Honduras and France in Group E.
Former Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo, now with United Arab Emirates club Al-Jazira, has also been included, as has 35-year-old midfielder Edison Mendez, Ecuador's third most capped player in history.
Head coach Reinaldo Rueda must finalise his squad before the cut-off point of 2 June.
