SATURDAY 31 AUGUST (3pm unless stated)
Man City v Hull 12.45pm
Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic is set to return.
Nastasic, now recovered from an ankle injury, was an unused substitute last week and is expected to replace makeshift centre-back Javi Garcia.
Captain Vincent Kompany (groin) and fellow defender Micah Richards (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.
Striker Yannick Sagbo is the only confirmed absentee for Hull.
Sagbo will serve the second of a three-match ban for his red card against Norwich, but the likely return of Stephen Quinn from a hamstring injury to the matchday squad is good news for manager Steve Bruce.
Bruce made 11 changes for the Capital One Cup victory against Leyton Orient in midweek and has not ruled out doing the same again as he recalls his first-choice players to the line-up.
Man City Squad: Hart, Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Lescott, Nastasic, Boyata, Garcia, Kolarov, Clichy, Nasri, Milner, Silva, Navas, Fernandinho, Toure, Barry, Rodwell, Aguero, Dzeko, Jovetic, Negredo.
Hull Squad: McGregor, Harper, Brady, Figueroa, Chester, Davies, McShane, Rosenior, Elmohamady, Bruce, Boyd, Quinn, Huddlestone, Livermore, Koren, Meyler, Graham, Aluko.
Cardiff v Everton
Cardiff will be without striker Andreas Cornelius.
The Danish forward, a £7.5million summer signing from FC Copenhagen, injured the ankle which had troubled him during pre-season in the midweek Capital One Cup victory over Accrington, and is set to be sidelined for two weeks.
Boss Malky Mackay is likely to revert to the same starting line-up that claimed a stunning victory over Manchester City last weekend, having made 11 changes for the League Cup fixture.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is expected to bring back all his big names.
Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini are amongst those who were left out of the midweek Capital One Cup win over Stevenage, although it was the latter man who got the winner after being introduced from the bench.
Darron Gibson (knee) and Antolin Alcaraz (hamstring) have returned to training but are not expected to be involved.
Cardiff Squad: Marshall, Lewis, Moore, Connolly, Taylor, Caulker, Hudson, Turner, McNaughton, John, Brayford, Whittingham, Medel, Kim, Smith, Noone, Gunnarsson, Mutch, Mason, Conway, Maynard, Gestede, Bellamy, Campbell.

Striker Loic Remy, the club's only senior signing to date this summer, could be involved from the bench after recovering from the calf problem he had when he signed from QPR, but midfielder Cheick Tiote (groin) will miss out as he joins Jonas Gutierrez (knee) and suspended defender Steven Taylor on the sidelines.
Maarten Stekelenburg is likely to be missing again for Fulham.
The Dutch goalkeeper, signed from Roma in June, suffered a shoulder injury on the opening day and suffered a setback following a fall in training.
Fellow summer signing Fernando Amorebieta's debut remains on hold, while Kieran Richardson is out for three more weeks with a hamstring complaint.

Norwich v Southampton
Norwich defender Ryan Bennett could miss the game after needing stitches in a gashed left knee sustained in the 6-3 Capital One Cup victory against Bury in midweek.
Manager Chris Hughton rates his chances as "touch and go", while striker Gary Hooper is still out with a shin problem but should be fit for the Tottenham game following the international break.
Midfielder Elliott Bennett is recovering from surgery on a cruciate ligament injury.
Southampton duo Guly do Prado and Jos Hooiveld will be assessed ahead of the game.
Both missed Tuesday's Capital One Cup second-round win at Barnsley through illness and could be absent again at Carrow Road.
Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino confirmed several other unnamed players need to be looked at, while record signing Dani Osvaldo could make his full debut in East Anglia.

West Ham v Stoke
West Ham midfielder Alou Diarra will miss the game after he was ruled out for the season.
A serious knee injury in the Capital One Cup second-round victory over Cheltenham appears to have ended Diarra's campaign just two weeks in.
Andy Carroll (foot) and George McCartney (knee) are also absent, but could be back in contention after the international break.
Ireland international Joey O'Brien was named in the squad despite pulling out of the Ireland squad with a knee injury.
Stoke striker Peter Crouch comes back into contention.
Crouch missed Wednesday's midweek Capital One Cup win over Walsall due to illness, but will be vying for the lead forward role alongside Kenwyne Jones following the latter's hat-trick against the Saddlers.

Manager Ian Holloway is expected to bring back his first-choice players following the Capital One Cup defeat at Bristol, with Jason Puncheon in line to make his home debut and veteran striker Kevin Phillips could face his former club.
Sunderland midfielder Stephane Sessegnon will not make the trip after being arrested and charged with drink driving.
But striker Steven Fletcher will hope for a first appearance for the club in more than five months in the Barclays Premier League clash.

Full-back Aly Cissokho will play no part in the contest after picking up an ankle injury in Tuesday's Capital One Cup victory against Notts County, that could see him sidelined for four to six weeks.
Two other Liverpool players who came off injured in that game, defender Kolo Toure (groin) and midfielder Joe Allen (hamstring), are doubts.
Manchester United boss David Moyes could stick with the same starting line-up that drew 0-0 with Chelsea.
Defender Phil Jones is expected to recover from the blow to his back he sustained during Monday's goalless draw with Chelsea.

Anelka's return is timely as head coach Steve Clarke is without Matej Vydra, who sustained a hamstring injury in the 3-0 Capital One Cup win over Newport on Tuesday.
With goalkeeper Ben Foster out for 12 weeks with a stress fracture of a bone in his right foot, Boaz Myhill should start despite a wrist injury. Midfielders Zoltan Gera, George Thorne (both knee) and Steven Reid (knock) remain sidelined.
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup will hope to restore Ashley Williams, Wilfried Bony and Jonjo Shelvey to his side.
The trio missed the Europa League meeting with Petrolul Ploiesti due to minor injuries, with Laudrup opting not to risk them for the trip to Romania.

Aaron Ramsey (groin) has recovered, but forward Lukas Podolski is set for up to three months out with a torn hamstring.
Defender Thomas Vermaelen (back) and midfielder Mikel Arteta (thigh) continue their rehabilitation, along with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby (both knee).
Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is a doubt.
Defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto and striker Emmanuel Adebayor will not feature as they are not fully fit, while star forward Gareth Bale will also miss the game as he edges closer to a move to Real Madrid.
