Swansea have broken their club record to sign striker Wilfried Bony from Vitesse Arnhem for £12 million.
The Ivory Coast international completed a medical at the club's pre-season training camp in Holland earlier this week and has signed a four-year deal.
The transfer fee more than doubles Swansea's previous record outlay - the £5.5 million paid to Valencia for Pablo Hernandez last summer.
Elsewhere, Roque Santa Cruz has signed a three-year contract with Malaga, the Primera Division club have confirmed.
The 31-year-old Paraguay striker spent last season on loan with Malaga, scoring eight goals in 31 matches, and has decided to commit his future to the Andalusian outfit after leaving Manchester City this summer.
