St Pat's Athletic made it through to the second qualifying round of the Europa League after Stephen O'Flynn scored a decisive away goal in extra time against IBV, despite losing the match 2-1.
The Dublin side trailed after 90 minutes after a Matt Garner goal on 84 which left the tie level on aggregate.
The Icelandic outfit added to their lead in extra time through Eythor Birgisson, but a pass from Jake Kelly found O'Flynn and he found the net on 99 minutes to seal victory for the Inchicore outfit on a 2-2 aggregate score.
Pat's now join Sligo Rovers as the only Airtricity League sides left in the competition at this stage.
Tonight's victory by the Inchicore side guarantees them prize money of €100,000.
