Irish squad set for civic reception

The Republic of Ireland squad will be guests of honour at a civic reception in the town of Sopot at lunchtime today.

This small seaside town will be home to the team for the duration of their stay in Poland.

The travelling party arrived in Sopot in the early hours of this morning following their 0-0 draw with Hungary last night. The squad have the morning off but they will attend the reception before having their first official training session at the European Championships at 4pm Irish time.
