Republic of Ireland Under-21 team manager Noel King has made a couple of changes to his squad for next Monday's UEFA U21 Championships qualifying Group Seven fixture against Italy at the Showgrounds in Sligo, kick-off 3pm.

Burnley defender Kevin Long has been added to the squad while Sean Murray (Watford) and Samir Carruthers (Aston Villa) will join the squad on Thursday as their involvement in the UEFA U-19 Championships qualifying tournament in Portugal has concluded.

Lanre Oyebanjo (York City) has been forced out through injury.
