Assistant referee Dave Bryan has been stood down from tomorrow night's Barclays Premier League clash between Blackburn and Liverpool following his offside blunders in Chelsea's victory over Wigan.
The Professional Game Match Officials Board had decided to withdraw Bryan for the game at Ewood Park in the wake of his performance at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea beat Wigan 2-1, with Bryan and referee Mike Jones allowing their goals to stand before replays showed both should have been ruled out for offside.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez was "furious" with Bryan's performance, branding it "disgusting" and "horrific" and claiming his side had been "robbed".
Martinez was today waiting to learn whether he would face a Football Association charge for his outspoken attack.
