Struggling Airtricity League First Division side Finn Harps have parted company with manager James Gallagher.

A statement released by the Ballybofey club said: ‘The Board of Finn Harps announce that the club has parted company with manager James Gallagher and assistant manager Anthony Gorman with immediate effect.

‘The chairman and board of directors would like to express their gratitude to both James and Anthony for their efforts and commitment during their times with the club.’

Harps were beaten at Finn Park on Friday night by Longford Town and currently sit third from bottom in the First Division with just three points this season.
