Goals from Daryl Horgan and Joesph Ndo gave Sligo Rovers a routine victory in their Setanta Sports Cup quarter-final second leg clash at Shamrock Park on Monday night.

Leading 3-0 from the first leg, Rovers were comfortable throughout and the tie was effectively over five minutes before the break when debutant Daryl Horgan finished off a slick passing move from ten yards.

Substitute Joesph Ndo added a second with a looping shot from 20 yards on 76 minutes.

The Bit o’ Red will now face current Airtricity League leaders Shamrock Rovers in the semi-finals, which will be played over two legs.
