Coventry have snapped up Republic of Ireland left-back Stephen O'Halloran on a free transfer from Aston Villa.
Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd has agreed a one-year-deal with the 22-year-old Irishman, who is expected to be formally unveiled on Thursday.
The Cork-born player's progress at Villa Park was hampered by a cruciate knee ligament injury but the defender, who has had loan spells at Wycombe and Swansea, passed a medical on Monday and has agreed terms.
Boothroyd confirmed: ‘Stephen is a young attacking full-back. He is quick and strong and a good defender with a lot of potential.’
