One of Brazil's greatest ever teams were 3-1 up against Italy and cruising in the 1970 World Cup final.

Brazil had produced some dazzling football during the tournament, but their final goal was to prove to be their best and secured the title.

Passing the ball for fun, and making a fine Italian side look very ordinary, Clodoaldo began a move that went through Jairzinho, then to Pele, who then passed the ball into space for Carlos Alberto to riffle into the net.

Jairzinho, Rivelino, Tostão, Pele and company had reintroduced free-flowing attacking play after the the physical battles of 1962 and 1966 - making the 1970 World Cup most fans' choice as the finest World Cup in history.
