Finn Harps manager James Gallagher has completed the signings of three more players as he continues to build his squad ahead of the new season.

The signings of Jason Noctor, Thomas Bonner and Johnny Lafferty now brings to ten the number of players who have already signed up ahead of the 2010 season.

Jason Noctor is a right-back who arrives at Finn Park from Sligo Rovers where he played five times for the bit ‘o red during the 2009 season.

The 20-year-old actually made his Rovers debut in a 4-1 League Cup victory over Harps at the Showgrounds. A native of Killybegs, he played his junior football with St. Catherine’s FC where he was a member of the team that won the Donegal Premier League title in 2006 along with Seamus Coleman (now with Everton) and Sean Kelly (was with Dundalk last season). Noctor played with Harps’ Youth team two years ago before spending a year at the Showgrounds.

24-year-old Thomas Bonner is at Finn Park for his second spell at the club having signed from Irish League side Institute. The former Wolverhampton Wanderers player originally played half a dozen games for Harps in the Premier Division in 2005.

Thomas’ brother, Fintan, was a member of the Harps squad last season and he was also in the 2005 panel. Although both players played a number of games at the start of that season, they never actually took to the pitch together.

Strabane man Johnny Lafferty is 23-years-old and is a promising attacking player who arrives at Harps from Glebe United in the Fermanagh and Western League in Northern Ireland. A player who likes to score goals, he can play in midfield or up front. He is a highly rated player who was capped at under-17 level for Northern Ireland and had attracted interest at that time from clubs cross channel.
