Bray Wanderers have announced the signings of Dave Mulcahy and Stephen Brennan.

Mulcahy (31) is a Kilkenny native, and an experienced midfielder, having had spells with Kilkenny City, Waterford United and Cork City.

Brennan (25) is a versatile and experienced defender who was released by St Patrick’s Athletic at the end of the 2008 season. He is a native of Shankill County Dublin and started his career with St Joseph’s Boys before moving cross channel to Newcastle United.

Speaking after the signings, Bray manager Eddie Gormley said ‘I am delighted to have secured the signatures of two players with the experience they have, they have a wealth of experience between them and have been top players in the League of Ireland over the last few seasons’.

He added ‘Dave will give us an extra steel in midfield while Steven can run matches as he is such a good passer of the ball, and both will have a big influence on the young players in the squad as both are good with young players’.
