Shamrock Rovers will unveil Michael O’Neill as their new manager at a press conference at the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght on Monday.
O’Neill joins the Hoops after a successful spell at Scottish Second Division club Brechin City, where he was recently named manager of the month for October.
The former Newcastle United, Dundee United and Hibernian midfielder played 33 games for Northern Ireland, scoring seven international goals.
His managerial career began at Cowdenbeath as assistant manager before moving to Brechin in April 2006.
