Derry City midfielder Niall McGinn is set to join former teammate Paddy McCourt at Celtic, according to Friday’s Star newspaper.
The Scottish champions are believed to have won the race to sign this year’s PFAI Young Player of the Year for a reported fee of €275,000.
McGinn’s former club, Dungannon Swifts, are set to receive a percentage of the fee, somewhere in the region of €25,000.
Swansea City had been favourites to land McGinn after the City winger spent a few days with the club last week.
